Headwaters of the Tsurumi
Saturday, Feb 29 (our extra day this year!)

Meet at Roppongi Hills Grand Hyatt at 9:30
Alternate meeting spot: The Giant Bike Shop in Futago, probably a bit before 10:30 (let me know if you want to join the ride here)

Route here

About 109 km from Roppongi back to Roppongi.  Closer to 100 if you ride Futago to Futago.
Stop at about noon at a grocery store in Minamiosawa where we but some bento supplies (fired chicken available I believe) which we carry a couple more kilometers to a picnic spot on the Tank Road.
Water and toilets here but no garbage cans.  Be ready to carry your trash for a few more km to a conveniently located Kombini.

At its headwaters, the Tsurumi is but a babbling brook; when we leave it about 8 km from the mouth it is a mighty river.
The ride often starts to break up when we return to the  Tama at about km 7 where Route 15 crosses the Tama and the regular Tama
ride leaves the river to follow Hinode street across Kamata.
