NO WORK
NICE WEATHER

Now that’s a ticket to ride if I ever saw one. With Monday-Wednesday national holidays, traffic will be down, and there’s little precipitation forecast (though Wednesday will be a bit blowy) I have to work Monday and Wednesday, but will do a Kasai Rinkai ride on Tuesday,

And Paul has humbly leapt into the breach with a Monday ride up to Lake Tama.

Wednesday is still open if anyone wants to lead a ride that day; let me know and I’ll forward your note.

Masks up, please, and bring an eco-bag for your convenience tore lunch.

Monday Lake Tama

We will meet at 10.00 a.m. at the West entrance to Komazawa Park. From there we go via Inokashira Dori/Hitomi Kaido to Inokashira Zoo, from there to the cycle road at Sekimae on the far side of Kichijoji and straight up to the lake where we will eat our (Combini) lunch. The energetic folk can cycle round the lake while the not so energetic folk have a rest. Then back to Komazawa Park. Total distance 55-60 kms. There's a small hill just  before the lake (reservoir) but otherwise flat-ish.

Tuesday Kasai Rinkai Adventure

Start at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills at 11 a.m. for a 50-km ride along paths and canals out to a pretty park near Disneyland. Back by about 3:30. Convenience store lunch. Leader: me.

Stay safe,
