GORGEOUS
…is what the weather will be this weekend, with highs in the low to mid 20s and lots of sun (put on the sunscreen!). Low to moderate winds.
So our usual visit to Odaiba on Saturday, and on Sunday a little trip to the “Dinosaur Bridge.”
Masks up, please, for meet-ups and stores, etc. Otherwise optional while riding. Bring proof of vaccination and an eco-bag for your conveini purchases.
Saturday Odaiba Jaunt
Start at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills at 11:00 for an easy 30-km lope out to our little beach bar by the bay for a brew or two. Back by 2:30 at the very latest.
Sunday Dinosaur Bridge
Start at the Hyatt at 11:00, head out toward Kasai Rinkai, but take a right as we approach the river, stop at a convenience store and continue on out to the end of “garbage island” (with a golf course on top). I would guess about 40km. Note: the store is still five K’s from our picnic spot, so if you want your beer really cold, bring some sort of cold bag. Back by about 2:30.
