TOKYO BAY CRUISE V A Half-Fast Adventure

On the evening of June 3rd we will once again board the elegant Marco Polo for a three-hour adventure on Tokyo Bay. Live music and dance performance! It’s a potluck, so in addition to putting up your share of the boat rental fee, please bring along a dish to share and plenty of whatever you wish to drink. Boat fee: Adults: ¥8000. Kids 11 and under: ¥4000. Under 2: free.

SIGN UP NOW! I’m taking reservations now, so make sure you have a spot by emailing hfpadrone@PROTECTED hfpadrone@PROTECTED or calling 090-5813-6721. Please understand that by signing up you agree to pay, even if it rains (we’ll have fun anyway), if you get sick, or if you just, literally, miss the boat. I will have to pay for no-shows. Space is limited! You can pay at the pier, but advance payments are preferred. Vaccinated sailors only,

WHERE AND WHEN June 3rd, 6:00p.m. at Asashio Canal Pier, just across Harumi-dori from Triton Square. Directions: Come up exit A3b at Kachidoki Station (E17) on the Oedo Line and make an immediate U-turn. That big street just ahead is Harumi-Dori. Go right (the opposite direction of Kachidoki Bridge) and walk about 5 minutes to a smaller bridge. The pier is visible on the right from the bridge. Map on request. We’ll be back by 10:00.

Note: Five core members are financially backing this year’s cruise, our fifth and the first since 2019. We need a minimum of 70 participants to cover what we’ve invested so far. So please all Half-Fast members feel free to invite your friends. This is simply the best party you will go to this year. A printable version of all this info is attached to this note. --Don Morton
