ASTOUNDINGLY,
…the weather just keeps getting better, with Saturday/Sunday temps forecast to be an amazing 26/24 degrees, with some clouds and little wind. You’re going to miss this weather come January and February. So let’s carpe us some diem and go out to do some pedaling, Don’t forget the sunscreen.
Saturday I’m looking at a Jonan Plus ride, and Sunday a longer spin out to Kasai Rinkai seaside park, near Disneyland. Please bring along an eco bag to avoid single-use plastic bags for any convenience store lunches.
Saturday Jonan Plus
Our regular jaunt to the beach across from Haneda but with a little 5k loop out toward the airport tacked on to make the total distance about 35k. Start at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills at 11:00, convenience store lunch, back by 2:30 at the latest. Coffee
Sunday Kasai Rinkai Adventure
Start at the Hyatt at 11:00, head out toward the mighty Arakawa, upstream a bit, cross over and downstream to a beautiful seaside park. Brief coffee break and then back across the river, around the heliport and back toward Odaiba for lunch at the beach. Not sure the total distance, but somewhere between 45 and 55 kilometers.
