…degrees is what, phenomenally, we can expect this December weekend, with mostly sunny skies and little wind. So unpack the cycling shorts and sunscreen and let’s go out and pedal our asses around Tokyo for a while.
Two “plus” rides then, one to Jonan and the other to Odaiba. Bring along an eco bag for any convenience store lunches.
Saturday Jonan Jima Plus
The usual ride out to the little beach park across from Haneda Airport, but with about 5km tacked on just for the hell of it. About 35km. Convenience store lunch. Start at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills at 11:00 a.m. Back by about 2:30 Coffee
Sunday Odaiba Plus.
A jaunt out to the magical island in the bay for a snack and a brew or two. Called “plus" because we add on 15k or so to make the total 45-50km. Canals, windmill, parks, beaches. Start at the Hyatt at 11:00. Back by maybe 3:30 Coffee
