A LITTLE
RAIN
…forecast for Saturday night, but not during the hours we ride. Otherwise a pair of fairly warm (29-30) and dry, partly cloudy days coming up this weekend. And it seems the rainy season will arrive soon, so we need to get out there soonest and pedal our asses around Tokyo. So a jaunt to Jonan Jima on Saturday and an Odaiba Plus on Sunday.

Saturday Jonan Jima
Start at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills at 11:00 a.m. for a quick, 35-km jaunt to a little beach park out by Haneda Airport. Convenience store lunch. Bring an eco-bag, as Half-Fast frowns seriously on single-use plastic bags. Back by 2:00 or so.
Sunday Odaiba Plus
So named because we add 15 or 20 km to our standard Odaiba ride to bring the total to about 45 km. Bridges, canals, windmills, dedicated bike paths through forests. Beach bar lunch. Start at the Hyatt at 11:00. Back by about 3:00. Coffee.
