The weather this weekend will be more than usually variable, with Saturday forecast to be 29 degrees and Sunday a balmy 18 or so. But dry. So let’s get in a few rides while we can.
NOTE: this will be the last time I ride with you until January, as I’m off to the US for some wandering in my super-camper, Christmas, voting, etc. But Half-Fast rides on! Details on the club's operations in my absence coming in a separate note.
Saturday Jonan Plus
An easy, 35-km jaunt out to a little beach park across from Haneda Airport, where we watch the planes come in and then watch them go away again. Start at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills at 11:00 a.m., back by around 2:30. Please bring an eco-bag for your convenience store lunch.
Sunday Odaiba Plus
Start at the Grand Hyatt at 11:00 a.m. for a wonderful ride that adds 15K on to our usual Odaiba run to make it 45K. Lots of canals, bridges, dedicated bike paths, and a beach bar lunch. It will be nice and sunny, but warming up to only 18-19 degrees, so you may want to add a layer.
