…a little this weekend, with Saturday’s high forecast to be a frigid 28 degrees. So we will emerge from the darkness and do a daytime Odaiba Plus ride as well as one of James’s early morning Jonan jaunts. Nothing currently planned for Sunday.
Thanks to all who showed up for last night’s burrito-fest at the Pink Cow. Next meetup, August 13. Mark your calendars.
Saturday Early Jonan
Hook up with James at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills at 7:00 a.m. (SHARP! James don’t wait for nobody) for a cool 30-km ride out to a little beach park across from Haneda Airport. Please being an eco-bag for your convenience-store breakfast. Back, presumably, by 10:00. James: sw08023@PROTECTED
Saturday Odaiba Plus
So named because we tack 15 km on to the front end of our usual Odaiba ride to make it a 45-km romp through forests, along canals and over bridges, often on dedicated bike paths. Beach bar lunch. Start at the Grand Hyatt at 11:00; back by 3:30 at the latest.
