Rides, 9, 10 Cruise
AHOY!
In just four weeks, on June 6th, we’ll embark on our annual Tokyo Bay Cruise (our 8th), so if you’ve been thinking about joining, now’s the time to let me know. You can cancel up until June 1st. Different route — Haneda Airport, the mighty Sumida, new fountain at Odaiba, said to be the world’s tallest or something.

Cycling-wise, a pair of 23-degree days calls for a pair of beach runs. Don’t forget the sunscreen!
Saturday Odaiba Outing
Start at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills at 11:00 a.m. for a scenic 30-km ride out to the island in the bay for a beach bar lunch. Back by 2:00 or thereabouts.
Sunday Jonan Jaunt
Another short 30-km ride out to another beach, this one across from Haneda Airport. Please bring an eco-bag for your convenience store lunch. Start at the Hyatt at 11:00, back by about 2:00.
Next Club Meetup
At the Pink Cow in Akasaka at 7:00 on May 13th. https://www.thepinkcow.com/ Our friend and cyclist extraordinaire Paul Barry, who has been battling cancer for the past few years, may attend if he feels up to it. Mark the date.
