Dear Half-Fasters,
It is with immeasurable sorrow that I report to you that Paul Barry passed away last Saturday, peacefully in his sleep.
Paul was a unique member of the club, always helping out new members and often leading rides. I think I’ll remember him most for his dry British wit.
Misa wrote, “I wanted to say that I think some of Paul’s happiest times were when he was out cycling with all of you. He really loved cycling, but I think what he enjoyed most was being out there with his cycling friends. I know those times and friendships meant a great deal to him.”
There will be a non-religious ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 11:00 - 12:00 at Yoyohata Funeral Hall, 2-42-1 Nishihara, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.
We’ll need a nose count, so please RSVP to James Wee at sw08023@PROTECTED
If you wish to send flowers, please contact Hibiya Kadan Co. by 5:30 p.m., Sept. 20. Phone: 0120-8794-87
