Saturday — Oneris: Okutama Ride

We're planning to do a saturday ride to Okutama, it is doing this route (but cutting it short at 77 kilometer) returning from Okutama station https://www.strava.com/activities/1942429772 since it is riding all the way through tama-gawa people can join anywhere on the way, we're planning to leave from hiyoshi around 8:30 but a good meeting point could be musashi-kosugi (8:45) or futako-tamagawa (9:20), please text/call me in advance to coordinate where to meet my line user is garciaoneris and my phone number is 08023620996. Bring spares and water, we'll stop in a couple of coffee shops during the ride, but there are some sections without not even a conbini, so also a snack would be wise...

NEXT WEEKEND

June 8-9 Tour d'Izu.

We follow Izu peninsula's coastline as much as possible so as to avoid traffic and tunnels. We leave at different points the main road to ride through small villages what will slightly increase the total elevation.

Day 1: Atami - Shimoda
We stop at Jogasaki kaigan (Cliff), Atagawa onsen (very hot spring), Kujuppama beach (bring your swim gear if you want to get wet and some cleat cover as the slope is quite steep)

We stay in Minami Shimoda in a minshuku. ca. 8-9000 Yen with  dinner and breakfast.
