Shivering cyclists!
You think today is cold? Saturday’s forecast is for a drizzle with a high of only five degrees. Even without the wet, that’s below my enjoyment threshold. The good news is that Sunday we return to more normal early winter weather patterns, at 12 degrees and sunny. So let’s head out to Kasai Rinkai that day. No other rides have been submitted yet. Next weekend looks like it will be even warmer.

Event space needed
I need a place to throw a party in mid-February that’s big enough to accommodate a band and about 100 people. No food required, but as it’s a potluck, we will generate a bit of garbage. Any ideas? Let me know.
Sunday Kasai Rinkai Adventure
Start at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills at 11:00 a.m. for an easy, 45-km “beginners’ plus” lope out to a wonderful seaside park near Disneyland. Not difficult but can get pretty fast on the backstretch. Back by 3:30 or so. Leader: me.
