So on Saturday I’ll lead a group out to the Arakawa, then upstream a few K’s to a supermarket and then a cherry tree-infested park. Return, if I can remember how, via a fascinating route along canals, dodging fellow revelers and hitting some great photo ops. Not a long ride, about 35k, maybe. Start at the Grand Hyatt at 11:00 a.m., back by about 4:00.
Masks up, please, and bring an eco-bag for your luncheon purchases. We’re trying to reduce the number of single-use plastic bags we inflict on our environment. Not optional.
Sunday we may be able to get in a quick keep-fit ride to Odaiba, but I need to get a more accurate weather forecast. Watch for a note Saturday evening. Or not.
