…this weekend, so I will offer only a pair of beginners’ rides, Saturday to Odaiba and Sunday to Jonan Jima, while James will lead an early-starting Tama loop that will probably meet up with my ride at Jonan.

Masks up, please. And bring an eco-bag for your convenience store lunches.


Saturday Odaiba Beginners’

Start at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills at 11:00 a.m. for a quick, keep-fit 30-km  ride out to the island and a little sittin’ on the dock of the bay. Back by 2:30 or so. Leader: me.


Sunday Haneda Beginners'

Start at the Hyatt at 11:00  for another easy 30-km lope out to Jonan Jima, a little beach park across from Haneda Airport where we can watch the planes come in and watch them fly away again. Back by 2:30. If you wan to stretch this out to 55km, see below.


Sunday Tama Loop

Intermediate-level, 55km, easy but fast. Start at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills at 9:00 a.m (SHARP). Alternate rendezvous points: KFC in Ebisu @ 9:20, Intersection of Kan-Nana and Komazawa-Dori @ 9:35, Komazawa Park @ noon, bridge at Futako-Tamagawa (Kanagawa side) @ 10:10, Gas Bashi @ 10:45 or 11:00 and Long break at Jonan Jima seaside park (across from Haneda) at 11:30 or 12:00. Convenience store lunch.  Ride Leader: James Wee: I have to work from 1PM so I will not stay at Jonan. Anyone who does not know the route back wait for Don’s group or follow me back to Roppongi.

Note that James’s ride starts at 9:00 sharp with no grace period. The two rides should connect at the beach.
