THIS GORGEOUS
FALL WEATHER
…just keeps on coming, guys and gals, with a couple of partly-sunny, 22-23 degree and dry days to be enjoyed this weekend. It doesn’t get much better for cycling.
So (surprise) our usual jaunt out to Odaiba on Saturday and a slightly longer Kasai Rinkai pedal for Sunday.
Masks up, please, for meet-up spots and stores, etc. Otherwise optional while riding. And bring an eco bag for your convenience store lunches. Vaccinated riders only.
Saturday Odaiba Jaunt
Start at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills at 11:00 a.m. for our standard 30-km lope out to the beach by the bay for a brew or two. Back by around 2:00.
Sunday Kasai Rinkai Adventure
Haven’t done this one for a while now. Start at the Grand Hyatt at 11:00 a.m. for an easy ride out to a wonderful seaside park near Disneyland. I think the total is 50-55 km. Can get pretty fast on the backstretch. Convenience store lunch. Back by about 3:00.
