CHRISTMAS!
While it’s true that most people will be spending time with their families this weekend, I’m betting that more than a few are looking for a few hours away from them as well. And at any rate, exercise is doubly important in times of ritual excessive consumption and revelry.
Besides, we’ve got a fine weekend coming up, with 12-degree max temps and partly to mostly sunny skies.
Masks up, please, for meet-up spots and stores, etc. Bring a reusable eco bag to avoid accepting plastic bags at convenience stores. Vaccinated rider only.
Saturday Odaiba Jaunt
Start at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills at 11:00 a.m. for a quick, 30-km ride out to the magical island in the bay for a beer (and snack) at the beach. Back by 2:00.
Sunday Jonan Jima
Start at the Hyatt at 11:00 for another easy 30-km keep-fit ride out to another beach across from Haneda Airport. Back by 2:00.
