THE NEXT
THREE DAYS

…at around 10-12 degrees and partly cloudy, look pretty much the same.  I’ve got stuff to do on Saturday, but will lead a pair of easy, 30-km, keep-fit jaunts on Sunday and Monday (“Foundation Day” if you didn’t know). Also, Bas Spaandermaan will do something a bit more ambitious out Takao way on Monday. Little wind, but dress warm.

Warmer weather apparently coming next weekend.

Sunday Odaiba Ride

Start at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills at 11:00 for an easy 30-km lope out to the Beach by the Bay for a Brew or Two. Back by 2:00 probably. Beach bar lunch. Coffee.

Monday Jonan Plus

Start at the Hyatt at 11:00 for another easy 30-km ride out toward Haneda Airport and thereabouts. Back by 2:00 or so. Convenience store lunch. Coffee.

Monday Takao Hills

Over to Bas: Monday February 12th is an extra day off to celebrate National Foundation Day.
Therefore why not enjoy some of the mountains and scenery on the West Side of Tokyo?
Gather at the convenience store at Takao Station North exit around 08.00 am.

We will ride over Takao past Sagamiko to Gando Pass after which we’ll descent to Miyagase and back to Sagamihara.
There will be a possibility to Rinko back or ride back from there.
Total distance 73.5km, total elevation: ~1600m.
Casual / No drop / Social ride.
Ride Leader: Bas (+81 70 4815 8701‬)
