ON!
The threat of thunderstorms tonight has apparently dissipated, so the night ride to Odaiba is a GO. (But bring rain gear, thunderstorms being what they are.)
Start at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills at 6:00 p.m., when it will be a frigid 32 degrees. We’ll ride out to the beach bar in the bay. It’s possible to extend this 30-km jaunt a little if everyone feels up to it. If you’ve never done a night ride in Tokyo, you have a treat in store. Back by around 8:30, or a little later if extended.
Tomorrow, Sunday, another night ride, to Jonan Jima, starting at 6:00 at the same place. Convenience store snacks.
