Been closely monitoring several weather apps and still can’t determine when the forecast “morning showers”are going to end on Saturday, so let's push our usual start time back an hour to NOON. Even so, we may have a few droplets at the outset, but we won’t melt. And the forecast high is an arctic 28 degrees, so we gotta do something. Also a nice cloud cover to keep the heat down. Then it’s going to get hot again Sunday.
Saturday Odaiba Plus
So named because we add 15k on to our usual easy ride to Odaiba to bring the total distance to about 45k. Back roads, bridges, forests, dedicated bike paths, canals and a beach bar for lunch.
Start at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills at NOON; back by about 4:00.
Paineful Reunion
If you’re free on the evening of the 24th, come and meet charter member Bruce Paine, visiting from Down Under. Even if you don’t know him. Probably at Hobgoblin Roppongi if there are no big-deal sporting events going on. Final details later.
