Happy New Year, Half-Fasters!
Just a note to remind you that tomorrow is the second Wednesday of the month and thus the day we traditionally descend on a little funky art bar in Akasaka called The Pink Cow http://www.thepinkcow.com/ to talk about all things bicycle and scarf some most excellent burritos and other Tex-Mex goodies. And drink wine. We usually roll in at around 7:00.
Just got back from California where, in the process of cleaning out the home of my late sister, an inveterate collector and organizer, I ran across a photo album she assembled of all my postcards and letters I sent during the round-the-world cycling trip that eventually brought me to Japan in the 80s. Never knew she did that. Thought I’d share it with anyone interested and maybe start a discussion on long-distance cycle touring.
