SNOW!
It happens. And while I love the white stuff, I’m not too wild about cycling in it. Plus the temps for Saturday and Sunday stand at 5 and 2 degrees respectively; and those are the highs. So no rides planned this weekend, but that doesn’t mean we can’t socially interact in other ways. Read on...
February Meetup & Birthday
The 11th is the second Wednesday of the month, a time when all good Half-Fasters gang and dine at The Pink Cow in Akasaka, a funky little art bar that serves up a terrific burrito and other Tex-Mex treats. https://www.thepinkcow.com/contact/ It’s a time to see what we all look like without the shades, helmets and other gear. Proprietor and head cowgirl Traci Consoli has been supporting us for 23 years. Let’s give something back. We roll in at about 7:00.
Last year I threw myself two birthday parties (there was a zero involved), but I’m not planning anything special for this year except maybe rolling the event into the above mentioned Pink Cow meeting on the 11th. Come on by! I’ll buy you a drink. No presents.
All I got for now.
Warmer weather and longer rides coming soon; next weekend’s forecast is for dry and 13 degrees.
