Around Kasumigaura**I rode up to Kasumigaura last weekend and was impressed with the newly improved cycling route around the second largest lake in Japan. It is flat but fairly long (130 km or so.) The early start is an attempt to out fox the wind and have a tail wind both ways.Bike bag, water bottle, helmet, sunscreen, spare tire/tube, pump required. Hi, all you cycling guys and gals, *Most of you remember our monthly meetings at The Pink Cow in Roppongi. We’d gather to lift a glass or two and chat about all things bicycle. And the real draw was Chef Andy’s hearty home cooking, notably his burritos. That Cow has closed now, and a smaller one opened in Akasaka.
