Takao-san + Zebra + One small extra*Approximately a 110km route that starts at Futako Tamagawa, goes up Takao, stops at Zebra (š¦āļøš„), one more small climb, then mostly flat to Tamagawa, and cruise downriver back to Futako Tamagawa.This is a āmy first hillā ride where we cut out the Honzawa Dam climb and avoid the rouleurs that is OneKan. Hey, half-fasters, Just got this from Masa, our oldest member (now almost 80). He was in the habit of leaving the Tokyo area, and our rides, for months at a time, so I didnāt think anything was wrong when we hadnāt seen him for a while. Turns out he broke his leg (on a bicycle) and has been laid up in a hospital. If you know Masa, heād probably love to hear from you. Bikers, Due to a forecast āfeels likeā temp of three degrees tomorrow at 11, along with a severe wimp attack on my part, Iām shortening tomorrowās Tama Loop to a 30km out-ant-back to Jonan Jima. Those to the west that we often pick up at the river can come in to Roppongi and do the Tama loop in reverse, or head downriver and meet us at Jonan at about 12:15.This could be a weekend pattern until the weather warms up.
