Saturday*, James will start things off with an early-morning beginners’ jaunt to Jonan Jima, and I’ll follow that up with an intermediate-level Tama River loop. Stefano’s Annual *Gourmet Italian BBQ Picnic!*On October 6th*, a Sunday, we’ll mount up and ride out to Wakasu Park (out by the Dinosaur Bridge) for Stefano’s annual feast. For ¥5000 you get all you can eat of delicious grilled beef, pork, chicken and homemade Italian sausage, along with several salads and pastas and plenty of sodas, beers and wine (we of course never drink and ride). Monday 16th September - Fruit line (Francois)*Yamanashi’s fruit line runs from Katsunumacho to the crystal line via Enzan and goes through different fruit tree fields (mainly vineyards) As it is harvest season, it is expected to see some grapes. Saturday 31st Night Odaiba (Paul)*Avoiding today`s rain showers and taking advantage of the slightly cooler evening weather, we will do a night version of our ever-popular beginners` ride out to Odaiba. Start in front at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills at 6:00 p.m. We’ll take an easy pace out to the beach where we will stop for a brief refreshment break before heading back. 30 km round-trip.
